It’s only been out for a month or so and while we haven’t had a huge number of people asking about iPhone 7 repairs yet- fortunately for them!- it’s worth noting that we’re already getting up to speed on many aspects of Apple’s newest baby.

While at the time of writing (October 2016) replacement screens- and hence any repairs- are still relatively expensive, we expect this to come down rapidly within the next few months. Don’t hesitate to ask us for a price, particularly if you’re reading this in 2017 or later.

All repairs are available though Mac Repair in Disc Depot branches in Dundee and in St Andrews.

Repair List

As with all previous versions of the iPhone, we offer a comprehensive selection of repairs for your Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. We can’t list all the repairs we’re capable of here, but the following list includes what most people need. Don’t hesitate to contact us if your problem isn’t listed here!

• Screen Repair and Replacement (including Digitizer) – If your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus’s screen and/or digitizer has become damaged, cracked or just generally broken, bring it to us.
• Liquid and Water Damage – Fallen in the sink? Had something unpleasant spilled onto it? Bring your phone to us, and remember- with liquid damage, the quicker we can get hold of it, the greater the chance of a successful repair.
• Home Button Replacement – No need to explain this- if your iPhone’s home button is broken, let us fix it.
• Connector Repair – Lightning docks and headphone sockets- we can handle them both.
• Battery Replacement – Yes, we can replace your iPhone 7’s rechargeable lithium ion battery if necessary.
